Performance Improvements
Running through over two dozen global datacenters, Cloudflare can automatically accelerate your site’s traffic. As traffic passes through these geographically distributed datacenters, Cloudflare intelligently discovers which parts of your website are static or dynamic. Static content is cached on Cloudflare’s global servers for a few hours at a time time before checking to see if content has changed. Automatically moving the static parts of your site closer to your visitors significantly improves the overall performance and reliability of your site.
This saves bandwidth, decreases server load and improves performance.
Increased Security
The Cloudflare network also provides a wealth of security tools including anti-spam, DDoS and hacking protection.
Future Improvements
We are also looking forward to being able to provide Cloudflare’s free SSL and Railgun advanced caching services when available.
